The Long-Winded Title Challenge
Categories: Slash / Femslash
Yet another challenge inspired by a discussion in one of the forum threads
Picking a title for a story can be almost as much of a challenge as writing it. Usually we got for short and sweet, two or three words, but not usually more than six. For this challenge, the title must be a minimum of eight words, with a maximum of twenty (let’s not get ridiculous, here). And no, having the same word repeated several times in the title does not count!
Characters: One of the main characters (i.e. anyone in the credits) should be featured. Secondary characters in minor roles are fine. I'm caught up through season 12.
Rating cap: FR18, but rated for violence and language only, please, and only write stories with a rating that you are old enough to write.
Genre: Any (although I'd prefer you avoid major character deaths, if possible). If it’s slash and/or romance, nothing above FR-13. Check with me to see which pairings I can tolerate (no, there aren’t many but there are some).
Crossovers: Ask, and if I'm a little bit familiar with it, it should be fine.
Prequels/Sequels: as long as the story can stand alone without too much background, it should be fine. Please ask.
Length: Minimum 500 words, no maximum
Other challenges: You can enter the story in other challenges if the other challenge issuer agrees. You can enter stories from other challenges in this one as long as they meet the rest of the criteria.
If I receive more than 10 entries, two winners will be given: FR 7-13 and FR 15-18 categories.
The deadline for the challenge will be February 29, 2016.
Have fun, and get wordy
Characters: Any NCIS Character(s)
