Never watched Buffy, but liked the Gibbs/Kate just like old times. Wonderful and beautiful
Very glad you enjoyed it, even without knowing Buffy. I miss Kate. I would have loved to see both Kate and Ziva on the team. The show needed more female energy.

I really liked this, but I wish there'd been more Buffy, Spike, Gibbs and Kate interaction. I also want to know why they were chosen to be protected by Spike and Buffy. So yeah, write more please!
I will have to try to do the rest of season one and season two so we can see more Kate and Gibbs development as well as more Spike and Buffy. Whenever the powers that be start taking an interest in someone's safety, it usually means they will be called on to make some great sacrifice. There is no free lunch... If they were rescued, they will be needed... for something.

This is a brief review because I'm TIRED and my brain hurts (hopefully you'll put this on Ao3 at some point *bats eyelashes winsomely* so I can put it on my Kindle and highlight all the bits I loved, which was a lot!), but I wanted to tell you that I LOVED IT, and if you were to write sequels I would be thrilled.
I was gonna love it anyway, because Kibbs and UST and all that deliciousness, but the cameo from Spuffy just made it even better.
I am relieved! :-) I will post it to AO3 and TtH eventually. If you haven't seen it up in a few days, nudge, please. I tried very hard to develop a picture of Kate as a complete character, something I had to dig for... the information was there, but I found her so unformed... it was only the talents of the actress that pulled her out for me -- and so i spent a lot of time observing her very closely. It is so much easier to 'see' the men in NCIS... do i'm grateful you like my vision of Kate.
I am happy you liked my Spuffy. I was afraid that since thsi was supposed to be an NCIS story that I might have them take it over.
I will try to do a sequel. After all, Ari was played by the same actor who plays Dracula on Buffy... It is calling to me!!
